View Full Version : Dyna Whey?
Anybody use(d) this stuff? If so, what do you have to say about it? I bought a bag today ($24.99). Is it good for gaining weight? good results?

looks like expensive stuff to me. Go to supplementscanada.com and it's under $40 for 5 pounds of whey.

GNC sells other products in bulk... I bought a 12 kg bucket for like $70 compared to your 1 kg for $25. Can't remember what brand, but it's good stuff.

The prices aren't the same but they still have some good deals. GNC might have some good deals on occasion but I kinda boycott them cause they sell a lot of overpriced junk!

Yesterday I dropped by GNC, the guy told me not to buy protein if I just want to gain weight, he said to buy weight gainer because it has more protein per serving?

Yeah I agree with YCB, 100% ON whey is best bang for your buck by far. Wicked taste on double chocolate too!

weight gainer is just protein with a lot of other calories, carbs and sugars added. It's generally more expensive when you work out the protein / serving. For example, a protein powder might have 22g of protein in a 30g serving whereas a weight gainer may have 52g of protein in a 150g serving! If you do buy weightgainer just do 2 cup portions (usually a full serving is 4). I like NLarge2 for post workout but I can't afford any supps these days so haven't been using it.
