1990 EAGLE TALON TSi (turbocharged sport injection) AWD
I am putting up for sale my prized possession Eagle Talon TSi AWD. Owned nearly three years, this car was modified very tastefully in such a fashion that does not make it attract unwanted attention. It is truly a “sleeper” car that has surprised many of my friends (and strangers too!). I am only selling this to improve my financial situation and get on to new and better projects. If I had the money and capacity to keep/insure two cars, this would not be for sale.
This car has done a best of 9.15 seconds on the eighth mile, my first and ONLY time ever at the track and the night that the quarter mile post was not working! Looking at other DSM’s with similar modification and eighth mile times, this car is poised to be at least a mid-low 14 second car in the quarter mile with good driving. It is a fun daily driver that gives me about 25mpg in the city and over 28mpg on the highway, much better than any of the other DSM’s I’ve ever owned! Mind you, this is modified and has better gas mileage than stock cars! If you don’t shoot the dumptube off, 10-11km/L is not uncommon!
There is no rust on the body whatsoever, the paint is amazing for a car its age and it has no major mechanical problems. This car has been exceptionally reliable for me, unlike other DSM’s you may have heard of. I am asking $5500 for it. Offers will be entertained, but you better have cash in hand ready if I call you on it.
An extra $1000 for a larger turbo, injectors, supra sidemount intercooler, fuel control and tuning will easily make this a 13 second car. Inspections are welcome but are the buyer's responsibility. If you have been looking for a DSM, look no further.

-I will disclose everything I have noticed good and bad below:
-No rust, paint is amazing for a car this age, no major mechanical problems whatsoever
-brakes are around 50%, rotors need to be machined soon as well, very minor issue and the car is still very much driveable
-this car NEEDS at least 91 octane gas, 94 is nicer
-The oil change frequency is higher with turbocharged cars… I am religious with this and have committed to changing oil every 3,000 kilometers on the nose
-I will include with purchase a copy of the most recent DSM CD, a compendium of manuals for all and every DSM model ever created, with full detailed instructions and parts codes
-Original owner’s manual will be included with service records that I have collected from previous owners and myself
-Will also include Hayes repair manual (aka DSM comic book)
