11-29-2004, 05:20 PM

Majestic12

yep, that's it. don't cheap out on the capo either.. if you get a crap one, it won't hold the strings properly. Have fun :D

start with easy songs where the voice changes are with the chord changes and play with the cd, the vast majority of what becomes popular rock is written like this

Hey Playa...

I wasn't intending to flame the guy, I was more or less trying to add to the joke.

It doesn't surprise me that you would think that though, you just go ahead and hold that grudge that started probably a year ago and take any cheap shot you can at me

I feel sorry for you that you could think you know so much just from sitting on your computer. You haven't ever seen me, you've never had a conversation with me in your life.

Keep going though man I don't care, it is a grudge. The funny thing is if you ever needed help I wouldn't give a shit about what you've said, I would still help you up. I know, I know, you don't need help from anybody do you?

hey jesus,

i could care less about the past, i just call them when i see them, same goes for anyone else who posts a dicki'ish comment on this forum. i've tried helping you by advising you about the fact that pretty much everyone on this forum is tired of the "HEY PLAYA" intro. MANY times people on beyond have called out your hipocracy, and yet when you return people still tollerate you, there are many times when a lot of board members (self included) could have burned you but have held back, but you don't seem to learn from your mistakes.

from reading your other posts on this forum it appears you are a smart person (although a trend follower at times), but you consistantly try to piss people off time and time agian. even though you are "being yourself" and don't care how others see you, you might want to stop and realize that maybe if you have the common courtesey to take into account the fact that you are annoying others, and restrain what you are doing, you might get some respect back, and you might become a useful poster on beyond, instead of the joke which your name currently represents. it may be a little harsh to call you a joke but look at all the other people on this site, or even the quote's in your sig, it's not that everyone hates you as a person, they just find what you do annoying as hell.

just though you might want to know WHY people bash you, playa ;)

EDIT: any further comments, direct to pm's, no use filling up this thread.

Okay well thanks for that more detailed explanation. Regardless of what anyone might thing, don't ever think that I don't take the time to read and think about what is written in the posts I respond to... including this one.

Yeah usually you have to jimmy around with them a bit. That is why the only true way to do it is to buy the songbook, although most songs are easy enough to figure out by yourself.

Except for the end solo of November Rain...four years and I still have no idea how Slash moves his fingers so fast:banghead:

You guys are in the stone age with those tab sites....;)

Its all about powertab editor and Guitar pro.

Power Tab Editor Software is free and Guitar Pro can be found as well....it is by far the best tabbing software out there.

Check em out.

www.powertabs.net

www.mysongbook.com

Some other stuff that is great is anything from the Eric Clapton Unplugged album.....stay away from tears in heaven as the might make the girl suicidal and not want to put out.

Also, any type of blues will do.
