FS: AMD Sempron 2800+ system

Case is a couple years old, but the core of the system (mainboard, memory and CPU) are new or near new. For example, the motherboard I just picked up from Memory Express today. The hard drive has warranty till I believe July 2006. Can be verified if need be. Have most boxes, drivers manuals, etc.

A Sempron *IS* an Athlon XP. It's the Athlon XP with the Thoroughbred core (256kb cache) and a name change. The PR ratings are also different. An Athlon XP 2500+ (Barton - 512kb cache) runs at 1.83 ghz (333 FSB) but this Sempron runs at 2.0 ghz on a 333 FSB so it would probably be pretty close to an Athlon XP 2500+ rating.

Does it come with an operating system installed?

import_illusion - It has Windows XP Pro. installed on it so that you can see that the computer works, but legally, you would have to remove the operating system when you got home and install an OS for which you have a license for.
