Ebay scam

I dont' buy too many things off ebay so I don't know if it's normal for a seller to have not replied to my emails for 3 days after I paid for an item. What should I do and who can I notify?

how is the sellers feedback? usually the sellers with massive sales tend to email back after a few days because they are flooded with emails and orders.

Danny.. file a report with Ebay.. they get back to you pretty quick.. they'll check on the info, and forward it to the fraud dept if necessary..

if he still hasn't emailed you back after a week or two, then go through ebay, if you're worried, then get the guys phone number and give him a call.

if you look at the top corner of the auction page it says if he offers paypal buyer protection. if it says that your ok, hes legitimate. you cant file any complaints until after 30 days i believe. How did you pay??

i filed a report 4 days after payment once and the ebay rep got back to me 2 days later, forwarded to the fraud dept on the same day.. it got resolved in about a week and a half.. :dunno:

See Ebay is messed up that way, you can't file a complaint till after 30 days, but the deadline for Paypal is 30 days, so are you suppose to file with Paypal first then wait for Ebay?

Anywayz, if you paid by Paypal, you can always submit a complaint (before 30 days is over) and tell them your situation, if they dont refund you you can always tell your CC company to stop payment to paypal (but your CC will be banned from Paypal for good, still better then getting ripped off)

i dunno. i got jipped on a cell phone once. took about 90 days to get a check in the mail from ebay. i only pay sellers with paypal buyer protection. its the safest way.

Ok buddy just emailed me back and said his internet was down because of flooding in New Jersey...anyways he told me that usps does not give a tracking number on international shipping...is this true?

I dont pay until I hear from the guy. I'll usually only buy from seller with 1000+ rating and no less than 97% feedback.

dont know about that, but as a tip DO NOT use UPS. they stick it to ya at customs

Yeah that's true - on regular air shipping, USPS does not provide a tracking number. Don't jump the gun so quickly, it's only been a couple of days now.
