Bought a phone: but taxes?

hey guys, i bought a phone from www.starlin.ca, he says he's located in montreal etc, so i bought the phone of him payed through pay pal, and he says that the price includes taxes.

So ne ways he sent me the tracking # for fed ex in my email, and i checked it at fedex.ca and it states that the phone is comming from hong kong, now i'm worried that i'm gonna be charged taxes?

Maybe the guy is just a second party? Originally brings phones from Hong Kong for whoever orders through him.:dunno:

You can't do much other than pay the taxes. I know alot of eBay sellers who are located in Canada actually have the product shipped from Hong Kong.

What phone did you buy from that site? Those prices aren't that good.

Well there is a possibility that he declared the value low enough that there are no taxes. Just wait until they deliver it and see if they ask for money for taxes/duties.

What phone did you buy from that site? Those prices aren't that good.

i got the e680 for 600

but as my luck has it omegacell just added it to their site 2day for 640 + shipping so i still maybe lucky.

A lot of people do that on ebay - they will represent themselves as Canadians, but I will receive a tracking number for Hong Kong Post or something like that. Pisses me off, but you should accept the phone if the taxes are minimal because they might give u trouble returning it or charge a restocking fee.
