View Full Version : 300gig maxtor Hard Drive For Sale
300gig Maxtor Maxline 2 5400rpm ATA/133 hard drive. The drive is under manufacturer warranty. http://tinyurl.com/4fa3m
$230 in calgary.
Im selling it cause 5400rpm too slow for me. I might go down a bit on the price. Will give a day or 2 personal warranty so u can take it home, do chkdsk and all that stuff on it. Even after that still has a manufacturer warranty.
Make sure if u want it, your computer can support the ata133. if not u know u can make it an external to make it working.

oh wait, nevermind...i just read that u think its slow.
sorry i dont want to buy a slow hard drive.
yea, it depends on what your enduser needs are, if your using it primaraly to play movies, and whatever, it will take a few milliseconds longer then an 7200rmp to load it up. But if u need it just for mp3's and documents, its the best buy for your buck.

I think what GTS Jeff was getting at is that you might not want to try and sell your HDD with the description "too slow for me"
;)
I am reminded of the seller who wanted to find "some sucker" to buy his car.

Well anyone who would want this drive and have the knowledge how to make it work on there system, would definatly know that it is a slower drive.
Im just being straight up. I dont need it cause i honestly dont need the space anymore and cause it just doesent load my movies fast enough. But there always is a end user for this hard drive...someone who wants backup for there mp3's....documents....etc.
Well my price has gone down to $200. If anyone is still interested.

I have a 7200 160 in my xbox ata 133 - and I wish I could have found a 5400 simply because it's much quieter and less noise. You'll sell the drive, just maybe not here. :D
