what if I"m a shaw customer without a satellite? I just have regular cable

What do I have to give you? The actual dish? The receiver? Do you need proof of payment of satellite? I had satellite but recently disconnected and now have no service, can I just bring in my old dish and still get the offer? I don't have the receiver anymore either!

U need the receiver, it's more important than the dish. The Dish isn't a deal breaker. I can set up an appointment for someone to come to ur house and set it up. BUT, u need a receiver.

Well, look like my HD contents will continue come from Bit Torrents.

While $300 isn't that bad to gain a PVR + 6 HD channels. But neither is it a good enough deal to convert me.

I rather use it to explore the FTA world or invest a bit more and go DirectTV route like Rage and dump Shaw now that grey market is back.
