Wagons are cool! I've seen a couple of those around.
Probably won't be worth much until 5 more years or so.

Does it run? It must be in pretty damn good shape. We will need pics once you get it! Do you have any documentation that it is actually 8,000km? Not to say the owner is lieing, but so you can prove to people it is only 8,000km.

Good luck.

Wow, that's quite a find, almost showroom numbers on that. What kind of options does it have, other than the 318?

and fuck you too
8000km for $2,000 is a good deal. and old cars are far more reliable then new ones - there are only three possible problems:
1) it runs rich
2) it runs lean
3) it doesn't start
and they are all fixed easy. Clean or rebuild the carb for 1 and 2, check the ignition and carb for 3, and if you don't find any problems for 3 then you just need to learn how start a car :). I guess the timing gear or chain wears out every once and awhile. my old nova only broke down once (timing gear), never stranded me, and didn't start only twice (because it was freezing cold and I didn't plug it in). and I put 50,000 miles on it too.

...and I am only half kidding.

True. My car only has 4,200miles!
(actually ad 100,000 to that, still pretty low when you consider it's 30+years old now)

it was a 1973 Nova with a 350 2-barrel and a 3 speed manual!! (apparently swapped in). it was too much fun, and the odometer only said 15200 when I sold it but it had rolled over once and was actually around 115,200.
