I wouldnt exactly call chevelle unheard of... its just the SHITTY radio that we have in this city refuses to play anything 'metal' even radio friendly stuff like chavelle.

Crossbreed is awesome, same with Nightwish.

On that list, add Dragonforce/Dragonheart (their changed their name),
Opeth
Otep (strange name similarity!)
Wall
Nothingface (they're getting pretty big though...)
One-900
Hannibal
Hamlet (though, they're german)
and maybe that little-heard of band Metallica?....
I'm sure there's a boat-load of others

YEP YEP YEP!!! Picked up both albums, and loving every track. Love it how they promote indie bands. The WB does this for virtually all their shows as well.

Yeah, they're decent albums but c'mon, after a while all of these 'Indie bands' start to sound the same.

Broken Nose - great local band.

Do a google search for their homepage, download a couple songs. You'll love it.

ya clutch is awesome but ive always wondered why chevelle gets no play here. The lead singer's voice is amazing! and their latest disc is good. Theyre not 'unbelievably' talented musically or lyrically but the singer makes it rock.

I really dont understand CJAY and theyre choice of music. Has anyone ever heard an Alice in Chains song on cjay? or any Tool besides that lateralus song? I dont think its about being too hard either, i used to hear More Human Than Human in regular day time rotation. Now it's f'n Tom Cochrane and 54-40 all day :barf:

Love the Can-Con. Don't forget Tragically Hip, Colin James, Kim Mitchell, other Canadian crap they have to play.
