View Full Version : Cold Air Intake Install and ?

How much of a power increase will I get from adding a cold air intake? I've got a Mazda3 with 160hp, the 2.4 I-4. Is it worth the investment? Will it screw up my engine or warranty?

You might see slight gains on the upper rpm range. The biggest change will be the more aggressive sounding intake noise.

Not too hard to install and I'm not sure about warranty.

It won't screw up your warranty, and any gains you feel are psychological. It may bump up your HP 1 or 2 horses, but its not really going to make your car any quicker.
