Fresh out of the box and the stupid thing doesnt work. The click wheel does read. Its a forth gen. only the buttons work. Apple.ca is supposedly sending me a new one. Anyone ever had this happen to them? How is apple support? Did it take long to get a new one?

kinda off topic but i know 2 guys from my school thats won an ipod already, and they've recieved their fair share and envy and punches by others

I don't envy him in any way, already have my own IPod... Besides, that's not my point. A lot of the Ipods that Pepsi is giving away are refurb'ed units.

they are sending you a new one?
so does that mean you will have two one where the click wheel doesnt work?

They register the serial number into their system, and they will check it when you return it.

New one comes to you, old one goes back in the box and gets shipped back to them where they fix it and send it out as replacement for other requests.
