i got a ticket in july for running a stop sign, and i said i was not guilty and finally went to court a couple days ago. when i got there the cop was cool about it and just asked what the problem was. i told him i needed to keep my record clean and i got off by pleading guilty as registerred owner, so i got 0 demerits but i had to pay the full 287. my question is since i dont get any demerits is this ticket going to show up on my abstract? will the insurance company find out about it and my rates go up or no? thanks
