Uh oh, if it pulls one way or another it sounds like you did bend something.. you might wanna have your suspension checked out asap.

cars were driving at 20km/h with the 4 ways on..

all semis were pulled over onto the side of the road cuz they culdnt make it up hills

Finally, the winter tires are starting to pay off. LOL
I hope it's a bitter cold winter. Let's see if those all season advocates can handle constant weather like this :D haha

You know I thought I was smart having winter tires.....but it's frustrating because it seemed like no one else had any and being forced to go some insanely slow speeds. Might has well saved some money and stuck with no-seasons *sigh*

still, goin at slow speeds doesnt insure that your car will stop when you want it to stop at slow speeds. at least with winters you know that your car will stop in a shorter distance. peace of mind

Wasn't all too bad, have some A/T tires that were known to be bad in snow....theyve been really good so far! Didnt have the touch the 4WD lever at all today:D

true, even going at 50 or so slowing down I have to do it like double the distance I would maybe even triple the distance I would on normal temps

I saw a city truck out last night spraying the roads with what I though was water. I really thought he was purposely icing the roads and got really confused but my mom told me today thats its some sort of liquid de-icing compound. I'm not sure how well it worked though because the roads are still ass. I think most of it is slush though so maybe it was worth it. This in the nw by crowfoot and that section of crowchild trail.

I was wondering why all of Nosehill drive from country hills down was wet last night. I kind of figured that's what it was!

I just spent 5 hours driving/working in this weather. Aquatreds don't like the snow/ice too well. I think winter tires are my next big purchase.

Only one thing to say:

Pizza Delivery.

All you people staying in and not driving?.. You're all ordering pizza! And I love you for it! My pockets are just lined with cash after tonight. Woooo!

=)

But yeah, the roads are just terrible. We were pretty close to stopping all deliveries at around 8:00.

I love road conditions like this!

Best part of the drive home was all the people getting stuck on that little hill on mcleod trail heading south right before heritage. This girl in a civic had to have been flooring it constantly for a good few minutes, and hadn't even moved!
