View Full Version : E46 M3 winter wheels\tires
my M3 is going to be picked up soon... which means i'm gonna drive in this crappy crappy snow, any recommendation on what tire\wheel size I should run for winter tires?
I'm thinking 17" w\ 225 Width tire.... any other suggestions?
Thanks!

225/45-17 at all 4 corners.
Just get cheap wheels that are easy to clean, like a simple 5-spoke. Make sure the offset is correct.
ooh ok thanks, what offset are we lookin at? I'm thinking +38mm or something

Just doesn't look as nice in the rear as it will be tucked a bit more than usual...
OEM M68s in their staggerred formation will fit on E46 M3s. Tons of M3s in Europe using them as winter wheels.

We have done lots of E46 M3s with 17" winter packages, although many still prefer to use 18".
You can use a 225/45/17 but it isn't really the correct size.
We have 17" wheel/tires sets with the correct offsets starting at $1500 :)
