it is in case of any spilled slammable fluids, if your engine is all fucked sparks could be emitting from somewhere, shutting the ignition of would stop fuel from pumping

The driver seemed so stunned. The instructor had to flip the ignition off, the driver just kind of sat there and moved his arms around.:eek:
