My bro is lookin to buy a car and try and flip it for a profit

Do u think this prelude is a good buy?

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

If you get it at the current price, when it's all said and done, he would have probably paid around 6000. Blue book value for a 97 Manual Prelude is around 12000. But, it looks like the car has been in accident because the steering wheel is blue, and the rest of the interior is black. Maybe repacked or something. Also, he said the engine burns oil and who knows what else is wrong with it since he hasnt actually seen the car.

I would definetely check out everything you can before buying it. My suspicion is that a car like that would have likely had the crap kicked out of it by the owner.

But hey if you take a look and all seems well then go for it by all means!

yah not worth the buy you can find nicer ones here
plus it was prolly in an accident cuz the airbag cover was replaced
something super obvious and i doubt he changed it just for looks

I don't see how people can buy a car off ebay without ever getting to check it out...I don't have that much trust in people.

Yeah, way to many kms to 'flip' for a profit, it would hardly be worth the time, especially since its in West Virginia
