Hey everybody. I got this sweet 1992 nissan maxima. I recently had to replace the chromes for blackies and winter tires. I think one of the tires off balance cause my car was shaking a little bit. After one day it got worse and was making a horrible noise like a bearing or something was rubbing. I think it spread to my brake system in the back and now my car is fucked. I took off the tire which i was told was shaking and replaced it with a donut to see if it made a difference. I think I ended up damaging my rear rotor and its now off balance. If there is a mechanic out there who want to come and check it out, I'd appreciate it. I don't really want to drive it anywhere far so suggestions on places I can go to get it checked out without getting ripped off would be great.

Mike

Did the donut make a difference? If so,your other tire was probably tight, but cocked. This could cause some damage to the rotor(grooving),but it is prob. OK.
You might want to have the bearings checked,though....
