This is to gauge interest in a groupbuy for AC Hydraulic Jacks & Jackstands

Approx 20" lift height, DK20 weighs in at 65lbs

3.1" clearance & 2.2 ton (4400lbs) lift weight

DK13HLQ on the left
DK20 on the right

Please see the following link for info on this equipment:

An example of pricing from past group buys is:
$189USD + shipping for a DC20 (basic) jack with 6 people.
Of course if you want different equipment, that can be worked with.

That's one hell of a good price, considering what their regular prices are:

# DK20 - $270.00 (in stock for local pickup)
# DK20Q - $293.00 (in stock for local pickup)

I might be interested in the DK20Q jack, a pair of either the 1500N or 3000N jackstands, and a rubber jackpad (see pic below).

If you're coordinating all this, ask the vendor for a shipping estimate to Canada. USPS would be ideal to avoid hefty customs clearance and brokerage fees. This is what US customers pay for shipping.

All jacks sold to mail order customers will be shipped out of Stertil-Koni's Stevensville (MD) warehouse. Most jackstands will ship out of my NJ facility. Jacks are also in stock for local customers who want to pick them up to save the freight cost. Shipping cost (48 state) is as follows:

DK20 (70 lbs) - East Coast - $40.00, Central - $45.00, West Coast - $50.00

DK20Q (75 lbs) - East Coast - $45.00, Central - $50.00, West Coast - $55.00

DK13HLQ (99 lbs) - East Coast - $65.00, Central - $70.00, West Coast - $75.00

3000N Jackstands (per pair) - East Coast - $15.00-17.00, Central - $17.50-20.00, West Coast - $22.00-25.00

I would imagine they weigh far too much to be shipped USPS. Perhaps they can go freight?

5FreshFish:
$189USD + shipping is just what previous groupbuys have gotten.
I will have to see how many are interested to get real numbers.

And I will inquire about shipping as soon as this group buy gets some solid commitments.

There are 3-4 places that retail the AC Jacks that I will contact but again, only after there is a decent amount of interest for this groupbuy.

Thanks for the suggestions though :)

M-Power: haha yeah stupid crappy tire, I'm so fed up with them

Zero102: I believe UPS does up to 150lbs. Not sure about USPS but shipping options will be looked into later.

I will keep the polls going for another week or so to get more exposure and I think getting the group buy going after Christmas/Boxing day will be better since everyone is spending money now

Once I find someone who is willing to do the group buy for us (retailer) I will put up another thread with the details

canadiandaytona:
yeah I have a jack & jackstands from crappy tire...guess why it's called crappy tire???

Hehe. 3.1". It'll just barely clear my bumper.....

sexualbanana:
yeah the DK20 should barely clear mine as well (stock ride height, no lip) but I don't really have a problem with driving up on some planks of wood to get the extra clearance.

The extremely slight bit of hassle in laying down some wood is greatly outweighed by the reliability & quality of this jack.
I'm so sick & tired of my shitty crappy tire jack...makes me nervous every time I use it LOL

5FreshFish:
there are a few others that have expressed interest in the DK13HLQ so hopefully the retailer we get for this GB will accomodate mixed orders.

Alright of the 4 retailers I have spoken with 2, left a message for 1 & the last (Krazed Kustomz) doesn't sell AC Jacks anymore.

The soonest I will be able to get quotes is into the first week or two of January from All Tire Supply.

I have made it clear that I want this group buy to be finished by the end of January so hopefully it won't be long for them to get back to me.

Just a matter of interest, in this group buy there are a total of 34 people interested in the jacks.
This spans 4 different forums across Canada & USA.

Have a Happy New Year!!
