I received my wheels and tires last night.
I was excited about these, but when I saw them I was in love.....
Pictures do not do these rims justice.

AND... I didn't pay duty on them
Not that I'm complaining though.....

Now I want winter to disappear and bring on summertime!!!!

Nice wheels. Haven't seen anyone sport them in a while.

FYI: UPS usually send customs invoices after the fact.

Duty is the tax/gst/fees associated with bringing something into the country. That money goes to the government.

Brokerage is what UPS charges to fill in the customs forms.

You can get around brokerage fee's if you feel like doing the work yourself but you can't get around duty.

So I paid the brokerage and GST, but not the duties.
I was asked to tell how much I paid for the set-up, I'm not going to tell, but it was ALOT!!!

But worth it to me.

IIRC it is 6% unless US made (NAFTA). Maybe it is 6.3% or something silly like that. This applies to new and use products.

The rims my buddy bought from the US must have been sent under the wrong classification, as he paid no duty. But he's not complaining. ;)
