Anybody know a Russian?

When my grandpa came to Canada they made him change his last name to a more "American" name, so it's been kind of changed around. Someone told my dad what my actual last name was but he wrote it down and lost it. I'd like to find someone who can translate it for me, I'd like to get it tattood on the back of my arm.

My problem is that it's a name, so it won't be used in common Russian conversation so it might be pretty hard to figure out.

I'm sure there a few websites (Russian ones) which have the measning. I ha dno idea what my name meant and about a year later after I was wondering about it, some chick found it. So I'm sure someone here might know one or you'll just have to research into it.
