la chaumiere or la ka(I forgot how to spell it) on the bow
classy and quite
la chaumiere is more romantic because of the dim lite

I have always wanted to try La Chaumiere since I love french cuisine, unfortunately the bf and i can never get there before it closes! :(

And yes, Peking Peking is classy! It gets busy on weekends so its advised you make a reservation...oh and 200% tip for outstanding service! :D

The Caille is seriously my most hated restaurant in Calgary.
Check out my review
http://forums.beyond.ca/showthread.php?s=&threadid=37688&highlight=caille

I'd seriously suggest the Muse.. it's a tad on the high side tho... I think it was around $200 for what we had ordered. So delicious!! The first two times I went I wasn't impressed but the third time.. everything was PERFECT! I hope the first two times I went was just the kitchen having a bad day cuz I was so impressed the last time I'm going to have a dinner there.. yummmm

Can't go wrong with La Chaumiere..whoever hasn't gone should go at least once!! :)

oh, some people like river cafe..but it's...not.....my type of food..period.

My La Caille experience was not bad. but I did have a bad experience at Hy's. Maybe I am asian, or maybe I was younger, but terrible service, the server is total giving us attitude, having once smile. You can see he was total differnt (lots nicer, smile and stufff) when he serve the table beside with a older white couple. He throw stuff on our table, the yorkshine pudding was burned (it's FxxKing Black) and he said it suppose to be like that. And when we just finish the main course, he just throw us the bill, didn't ask if we want anything like coffee and dessert or something. No Thank you was said once from the sevrer or on the way out. Worst service I got in my whole life

River Cafe have ok service and the food is ok...
