Do NOT confuse this subwoofer with the punch hx2 this sub is the real deal top of the line 2000watts peak and 1000watts rms rfr3112 Rockford fosgate power HX2 12" this sub can literally take anything you can throw at it. It is a dual voice coil sub running at 2ohm. I purschased it in july of 2004 had a custom ported box built for it with proper specs at 2.5 cu.ft the installer hooked it up to one of his shop amps and it sounded amazing unfortunately I never got the money to purchase an amp to power this sub so it is Brand New I still have all the original packagin and documentation this product is A stock and not refurbished unlike you will find all over ebay and various online retailers it comes wit ha complete manufacturers warranty until july of 2005.
