Just wondering what the newest generation Preludes are like in the white stuff. If anyone could give me some answers that would be great.

thanks.

lol.. it all depends man.. if you have the factory re92's on.. then fuck you might as well take your gt-snow racer becuase it'll get more traction. i used to have a 01 prelude se.. and to tell you the truth it kinda scared me when it hit the snow/ice. but then again it could be the tires. tires make a huge difference

Obviously quality tires will make a difference. I'm talking more in terms of front-rear weight distribution, like does it have a tendency to drift and to start swaying?

I had a 1992 Prelude for 2 years and it was actually pretty good for winter driving. The only thing is that yes, even with a custom sub enclosure and 4 subs in the trunk the car oversteered intstead of understeered. It never got me into trouble, but if your not used to the rear end going out i guess it could be a bad thing.

Its not that bad at all. I even drove through a whole winter with summers on and it wasn't THAT bad. I used some all seasons for a little while with no problems at all.

I had an '00, drove for a week on the all seasons after it had snowed -the car was a little tail happy.
Got good winters and things were better. Still had a few moments on the winters tho...

Its really not that bad at all. I'm not driving mine this winter, but last year I put some winter rubber on it and it handled very nicely. You'll find yourself starting in second gear sometimes but other then that I had no problems/close calls.

Low torque + FWD = No problems at all driving that car in the winter. And yes the RE92's are the suck.

Werd. Good ol' RE92s.....sux ass. Drove 1 winter with them, always had traction problems even going super slow. Picked up a set of winters and its the best thing that I ever did....
