i would look for any car that has a large amount of parts available in the wreckers , especialy if it's a car that u are going to learn on.
when u break something u want to be able to get the parts with out waiting a few years or paying threw the nose.
new or used

although AWD Turbo DSM's are rare at wreckers...trust me I know...you can amass parts very inexpensively if you look around and know which parts you will be beating up on during your McCrae endeavours...

but he wants a car he can beat up on...and All-Trac's are pricey to repair...
All AWD cars are pricey to repair. They're usuall heavier, and the drivetrain usually takes a beating.

So if AWD cars are xpensive to repair, and there is alot of beating on the drive train it begs the question.. should one just use a FWD car? and if so what one?

if you are planning to do performance rallying, a FWD car isn't a bad choice to start in. VW Golfs are popular FWD rally cars.

Don't you have to rally in the kick ass class if you're running a 4wd car?

if u do decide to get a talon, i have a garage full of parts: heads, blocks, intercoolers, turbos, mainfolds, transfer cases, tranny's, and another whole talon that i use for parts also, but not all this stuff is for sale, but u can ask me if i have an extra part...
