So now that we are in the dog days of winter, and the outside water is turned off at my house, I have to take my car to the coin car washes... I hate not being able to do it myself with a wash glove.
Anywho, what is everyones thoughts on the spray wax you can throw on your car. I know it's probably not near as good as a solid buff-job, but does anyone here use the spray wax often?

I do, I just use whatevers left after I clean up my car.
Say I put in two dollars for the final rinse, after I finish washing the car off, i'll just throw it on wax and spray whatever I can on the car before it shuts off and I'm on my way out.

Depends, As for the coin op wax, I dont use it. Just builds up more film to remove when you do a proper wash and hand wax. As for spray on wipe off waxes, I have used a few of these, Eagle one and Armour All brand. I found the Eagle one left streaks. I used the Armour all spray on wax on a dull black car and the results were nothing short of amazing, but short lived. Seems like it would bring the shine out for 2 washes maybe
