MUST be 5 spd
MUST be a coupe
MUST be in driveable condition
NO honda's
NO domestics

ideally fc rx-7, 240 sx coupe, e30 bmw, most anything that's turbo or awd would do as well.

that car isn't driveable/insurable if it needs an alignment, then there's the e-brake which will cost 300+, the leak, the damage.. etc. no thanks with the rust

the car is definitely drivable if it needs an alignment, and a LOT of cars have minor oil leaks, not to mention youre probably not gonna find a car in that range without any problems... the e-brake is pretty minor in the scheme of things

no e-brake = failed inspection pass. it might be just the shoes but it could be the mechanism.. or a cable, who knows. At any event it'll need that and an alignment to even pass the inspection my company requires so we're talkin $150-200 right there.

I actually picked up an '88 audi that has a mint interior, exterior is 100% rust free but needs a polish, it's the turbo quattro model and the OLYMPIC edition  blaa blaa blaa, everything done, needs nothing and it was in my price range.
