I will post pics if requested. I would prefer to sell the car as a whole, full security system w/o command start, premier cd player, upgraded speakers, totally stripped interior (except seats, dash, console) set-up for track car, would be perfect for a track project! I also have a friend with a fibreglass front end if ppl are interested. Everything mechanically works and works WELL!!! I have 2 sets of rims, 230,000 on the car.. montego blue and tinted, awesome handling but does need some rear 1/4 panel repair. power everything, great amount of hp+torque as is and cheap to repair, people don't believe this but if you're a "do it yourselfer" like I am these cars are just as cheap to maintain as any other import
post if interested in parts or the car as a whole, I'm still driving it so that should give you an idea that the car isn't totally fubared
$1250 w/o rims, $1500 with rims

BUMP, ask for pics if you want, I'll e-mail them. someone must want a nice track car. With a 951 motor on stand-alone, upgraded turbo and a fibreglass front end.. add some suspension and you've got $5000 + cost of this car and you have a car that will out-handle anything you'll ever own with over 320whp ;) not to mention it weighing only 2400 lbs

did the 951 motor just drop right in? pm pics plz of car and motor.

yes the 951 motor drops right in and is wired up with ease. With a guru chip/map set and a few lbs of boost it's a 300 whp car, capable of more with a bigger turbo and bigger injectors, etc. etc. the intercooler goes right under the nose cone and the N/A's have a big cavity there, everything is directly bolted and/or wired in, easy swap.
I can only e-mail pics of the car and what motor do you want pics of? I don't have the turbo motor if that's what you're thinking. The 951 motor with manifold, ecu, intercooler, piping, etc. goes for $1400 usd +, I was just saying that with about as much money as it takes to swap in and do up a silvia sr20 you have a bigger displacement engine in a car that handles a lot better and is well.. a Porsche

Bump, will take $2000 for the car, both sets of rims, upgraded sway bars, fog lights, bra, speakers, no deck, stock steering wheel. I can get all the parts needed to fix it for cheap and I can get a lot of styling parts for cheap too

1. The 951 motor does not drop in with ease.
2. The stock turbo (non Turbo S K26/6) can not put out 300whp at sea level, let alone at our elevation. The Turbo S K26/8 can barely hit 300whp at sea level.
3. Nothing is cheap on 944's and Porsche parts. You're better off dropping in a chevy V8. A lot cheaper.

incorrect. The 951 motor drops in with ease compared to say a 2jz swap in a mkiii supra or a 20b into a FC3S.
2. I have seen 300 whp at our elevation from a 951 with a stock turbo, bigger injectors, upgraded intercooler, stand-alone computer, cam, intake, exhaust.. that'll get you up there easily
3. when you can get an entire n/a motor for 900 bucks... that's cheap
you're not helping the sale ....... :guns:

Which rims do you have for the car? would you be willing to part them out?
slowazzporsche
12-29-2004, 01:39 PM
part out the rims? I have one set of cookie cutters and one set of phone dials. phone dials have all-season tires with 70% tread, cookie cutters have kumho summer tires with 80%+ tread on them. Cookie cutters will be $550 firm (they're hand=sanded and polished back to their original look.. very sharp) The phone dials will be $500 firm
