If I wrote a cheat sheet, and I scanned it and shrunk it down an inch on each side approx, would that be "legal"?

beacause the prof says no photocopying.. does this count? haha

What class is this for?

i was aloud 1 sheet, 2 sides, of anything we pretty much wanted.

I scanned some practice questions with answers, shrunk em down, and added...this was perfectly aloud, but i gues depends on teacher / course

yea, and just make sure u have a legal/fair cheat sheet for backup
so then if he disallows that one, u still have something

How much time did you spend on your cheat sheet for STAT 213? I spent about 10-12 on each cheat sheet I wrote for STAT 213 and 217. Of course, it didn't really help me on the exam. I'm sure your prof has said this, but I'll repeat it...they greatest benefit you'll get from your cheat sheet is from the process of creating it.

i bet a test that allows a cheat sheet is 100x harder then a test w/o one, id prefer not to have one

I found that the best thing for stats was to make a table in word with two or three columns and put everything you could possibly need on computer in a small font, and then write out the really tricky formulas that you cannot do on PC.

IMO cheat sheets tend not to be used during exams since if you make it yourself, you end up memorizing the stuff you write down already

I've taken stats213 and stats 217 before
and i've just finished math321...which is basically stats213 + proofs and derivations + moment generating functions
we werent allowed a single cheat sheet at all...

So you guys are lucky to even be allowed to have a cheat sheet for reference but when it comes down to it, it all depends on how well you understand the material cause if you only look for formulas, you really dont understand the course.

Cheat sheets are the devil.

Some profs think that if you have a cheat sheet that they can ask you any obscure question about one of their lectures/ lessons.

meh cheat sheets or not... if u study nothing is hard.

so far 13 people downloaded.... therefore 13 people starting off well in stats 217...

yea, i make the cheat sheet cuz it helps me study, but then i try not to use it for the test

cuz if u need to use it, then ur not really prepared, and besides u waste a lot of time looking for stuff too

unless u color code it and make a legend

Yeah the only problem was I had to remember all of that crap for my fire department application and give details to each event. Haven't cheated once since high school:D
