it is the base model.

i believe that the base model was better to modify and slightly lighter in weight. There were more aftermarket parts available for the base model, however, i did not get much of a chance to pursue that direction.

The SE models for 2001 are just the leftover 2000's that did not sell. Honda decided to add a CF in the car and leather seats,
and stick an SE emblem on the rear. Mechanically, the SE and base are identical.

The SH model has the ATTS system that added for traction control.
However, it was often said to have led to oversteering and unpredictable handling during cornering. Therefore this information led me to purchasing the base model. If I wanted control, i would simply purchase an LSD which is much better and at a lower cost

SE are actually not base - they are SH they do have ATTS on them
the first handful of 2001's to come out are bases, They however are not called SE

good price for the km's:thumbsup:
And also for getting his facts straight.

Prelude-Vtech, you should learn to spell VTEC before you start giving Prelude advice, because your name pretty much sums up your facts.

actually thats a mistake. it's better to work a car in at higher rpms because at low ones you glaze pistons and walls with carbon and it takes thousands of Kms to burn it off. If you you break in an engine at higher rpms it makes the pistons and walls expand and contract to fit better with no gaps.

high rpms cause more fule consumption.. like that guy said tried 3500rpm under for me gives me a week full tank and i drive pretty much 180kms a day. i tried 3500rpms above 4 days for full tank..

I was talking about breaking in an engine not everyday driving. Higher rpms is better to break an engine in with but ya if you want better mileage ya your right lower rpms=better mileage
