Well i was gonna rebulid and put in my EG Hatch and Boost it :D But decided not too cause of a few factors

97 Integra B18B1 LS Engine
Runs but has spun a bearing, it is noisy till it warms up and noise goes away
Good for rebuild project
Engine is pretty much complete, missing a few things like distributer/Flywheel, has all sensors
Also has Harness still on engine and is not cut/damaged at all.
Physically looks mint

I will take some Pics tommorrow and post em.

I am open to offers or trades or both :)

Pm if Interested

Huh? Can you even drive with a spun bearing? To spin a bearing doesn't the bearing seize to the crank? Won't you kill your crank after having a bearing seize?

??? Not a mechanic maybe someone can answer this.....

I know that the guy was driving the car until he swaped in the new engine, he said that it knocked a bit but i didn't actually hear it running.
I'd would definitely suggest a rebuild for this engine to bring it back up to par.

a spun bearing is when the bearing becomes scored from overheating or lack of oil. This causes play between the crank and the crank bearings, causing it to knock.

And it needs to be fixed before too much damage is done. Mike, any chance you have the whole swap? Tranny?

No don't have the tranny, I wish cause it would go in my car :) All I have in just the engine and the wiring harness that is on the engine.

Spoke to the Mechanic who took this engine out, he said that they crank journals from the spun bearing should have no wear/damage on them so the crank should not have to be replaced , just the bearings ...... if anyone cares :dunno:

What are you willing to let it go for?

work case, you might have to machine the crank. Nothing too serious.
