Depends. Importing for yourself? or For selling? If its for you, then you should think about your choice more than other people, if for selling then think whats hotter and what would sell quicker.

Why import a JDM 850i if you can get a LHD one here?

For resale I'd say the GTR or the 300zx.

you can get an 850i for around 6-700 000 jpy FOB which is approx. 8 grand. plus shipping and the costa when it arrives in canada. when all is said and done your looking at around 10-11 grand. they are selling here for 25-30 grand. so im thinking 850 i all the way

it all depends on how much money u got for maintenance/gas/modding.

but other than GTR or 850i (wut i'd take outta ur options)...

anything mitsuoka and good luck getting an 8 series for 8k FOB.. are you planning on reselling these as a business?

JDMImports

850 sell here for anywhere between 20-35 grand. and the average price they go for at auction for the last 3 months is 578 000 yen. so getting one FOB for 9 or so grand is possible.

huge...they are hella rare here...plus which the fact that the ones in japan are LHD anyway would be a huge help...850's are so pimp...if I'm not mistaken they were available with a V12, have never driven one...but proceed to cream my pants every time I see one.

Yup, they had a V12 so smooth you could start the engine with a dime standing on top.

The dime would fall off everytime, but thats besides the point

JK, i'm sure their engines are as smooth as the appearance of the cars themselves. I've seen a couple in action, rare cars. It would be sweet to have one if they were cheap.
