History with Dr. Winter. The course is very interesting. He teaches an array of them in the 300 level that deal with Medieval Europe. But I don't think any courses are an "easy" A...they all require work. :dunno:

From what I've heard the University is starting to crack down on some of these "easy A" courses. It might also be a new prof that doesn't want to make the class so easy, so they jack up the difficulty level.

Easiest you might find I think would be Geophysics 379. But from what I've heard, the final this year was pretty tough.

I had Geography 321 with Holden teaching it for the first time this semester. First midterm was easy. Assignments were easy. But the second midterm and the final were ridiculously hard.

ltso309 for sure
take it with Hamnett

I took it in block week with her
we went on 3 or 4 field trips off campus

one midterm that required no knowledge of course material
and a 15 minute powerpoint presentation in a group
and 1 10 page essay in a group

lowest workload ever...next to a few econ courses

my experience is that there are no "easy" classes. the closest thing would be "classes that you can excel in if u put in the work."

Don't really think there's really such a thing as "easy" 300 level classes to begin with.

Easiest I've come across have been CNTST 333 and HTST 333 but they still required a fair amount of work to get good marks.

Yeah Konnert & Winter are good profs b/c they make material interesting. I had them for my 500 level courses.

You can't always take what you hear is an "easy" course. I took Astro205 as an option and I got raped!!! Hardest class I ever took and this is the third last course I need. Oh my ged!!!

That guy is great. I took his class as one of my non technical electives, and I loved the course. I put in the work and got a B. I agree what everyone else is saying though, theres hardly any courses that I'm aware about that you can just go in there and get an A. Some of them you have a better chance of it if you work hard..

Guess it depends on who you took it with. I took it this past semester with Chastko and it was pretty interesting. Lotta stuff to memorize that's for sure but it's all mainly dates.

Didn't think it was too too hard.....coulda been worse.
