This is a demo unit that my dad is letting go for cheap. This is a 2001 model camcorder, I have one myself that I use regularly to make the beyond.ca videos (until MrX jacked it to europe to film the Monaco F1 race... bastard!)

It's still a current model camcorder, with stores selling them for around $1800+GST new.

Because it's an in-store demo unit, there are light scratches on the surface of the camera from people handling it. There's full warranty on it since we are an authorized Sony dealer. If you're interested, you can PM me an offer. There's offers on it for around $1300+GST right now, but I thought I'd let forum members pick it up first in case anyone's in the market for one.

I think we have one in stock. I don't like the MicroMV MPEG2 products, they have inferior CCD's and resolution, so they look crappy when mastering to DVD. Nice thing though is it saves a LOT of time because it dumps in MPEG2, no need for DV --> MPEG2 compression.

I'm really picky with quality though... so the MicroMV MPEG2 cams might work well for you. They're cheaper than the MiniDV cams too. I actually played with the new megapixel DCR-120BT but the resolution isn't noticably different than the PC9, therefore I'm keeping mine =).

you got anything that's pretty cheap and will record videos? I don't need anything fancy, just something that'll get the job done.
