Hey everyone. Im just starting to gain a large intrest in cars. It seems though, sadly my car is broken? Today, i started my car, and it died 4 secs after. I turned it on again, it worked, and i drove away. Later that day, it did it again! Im worried now.
As well, my cluch make a squeaking sound and doesnt always come out fully when i let go, its not in, but it just doesnt wanna come all the way out, unless i pull it back with my foot from the back of the pedal.
Does anyone know what the two problems are?
Thanks in advance!

Nelson

try going under your dash and spraying your clutch linkage bolts with white grease or possibly wd40 it worked for my car

Is your slave cylinder full of fluid?

Sounds like something has gone awry in your hydro system.

The clutch is hydralic which is vacuum assisted, just like the brakes. It sounds like you may have a vacuum leak somewhere since the car is also dieing. Is it stumbling at idle or did it just cut out immediately? How are the brakes, if there is a vacuum problem with the clutch, the brakes should feel quite mushy too, since they run of the same system. Test the vacuum system for a leak and check for weak brakes, that should be your first area of concern.
