I have seen that movie so many times and it's an amazing movie. Such an old school "you fuck with me or anyone I know I'm gonna fuck you up" movie.

That Napolean Dynamite looks kinda lame from the commercial....seems like it's a Jackass wannabe but I could be wrong.

It wasn't really a personal thing, just that I honestly think you need a very smart sense of humor to get it, and it's true.

just watched Napoleon Dynamite, hopefully the guys saying its one of the best movies of the year are joking.

i had some laugh on the movie, the main character was quite unique but the story was weak. the girl Summer didnt even become antagonist until 50minutes of the movie has passed already

I agree. It was the movie I was looking forward to seeing on DVD just so I could catch all the small things that slipped by during the 1st sitting. The movie struck a thord with me and I never thought I would like a movie that Jim Carrey would have a staring role in.

Troy could have been better if they actually sticked with the original story instead of making a Hollywood Edition :(

I liked the movie, but i was exaggerating when I said it was the best :nut: I don't even remember what movies I've seen and what movies came out in 2004!!

I really really liked Chronicles of Riddick. I can probably gauruntee that little people liked that movie, hahaha. Pitch Black was better though.

But spiderman 2 for movie of the year? Nah, It wasn't good. The first one was bad enough.

So my vote... Anything but the movies about comic book characters!

Team America: World Police simply for this quote:

"We're dicks! We're reckless, arrogant, stupid dicks. And the Film Actors Guild are pussies. And Kim Jong Il is an asshole. Pussies don't like dicks because pussies get fucked by dicks. But dicks also fuck assholes. Assholes that just want to shit on everything. Pussies may think they can deal with assholes their way. But the only thing that can fuck a asshole is a dick, with some balls. The problem with dicks is they fuck too much or fuck when it isn't appropriate. And it takes a pussy to show them that. But sometimes pussies can be so full of shit that they become assholes themselves. Because pussies are a inch and half away from assholes. I don't know much about this crazy crazy world, but I do know this. If you don't let us fuck this asshole we're going to have our dicks and pussies all covered in shit."

Anything but Spiderman 2. It didn't come close to living up to the hype.

So, my vote goes to Troy. Although it was a departure from the original storyline, it kept me entertained the whole movie.

I had been wondering what the all the fuss was about regarding Napoleon Dynamite so I rented it tonight. I must say, the dance scene was it's greatest moment indeed, but a great film it was not. The plot seemed so disjointed that it left me thinking "WTF?" every few minutes. Perhaps that was the point, sure, but you can still produce the same effect without having to make a plot that jumps around all over the place.

Harold and Kumar - I SOOOO wanted to see it when it was released, but I missed my chance, so I'm eagerly awaiting the DVD release in a few weeks to see what I missed.

As for Spidey 2, I can still say that I give it props  for a job well done at least. May not have been as big as the hype, but still pretty damn good. Anyone know if there's going to be a 3rd one and who the villain(s) will be this time?

Ive only seen bits and pieces of Spiderman 2 at my work (FutureShop) and it seems like a pretty decent movie. Too bad Im too lazy to get off my ass and rent it. Im trying to think about all the movies I saw this year, cause I know there were a few good ones.

Harold and Kumar was a GREAT movie.

Anchorman was a GREAT movie, but not as great as H&K.

Napoleon was the most overhyped ridiculous movie ever. I didn't like it. Except Pedro, Pedro is the MAN. The only good quote was 'Youre just jealous cuz I'm chatting to babes online' and then Lafawnduh came. :D

Fahrenheit 9/11 was good.
