I have been there, It's a mongolie grill style set-up where you pay for a bowl and meat and they cook it up and bring it to your table.

Pretty good place IMO.

Good restaurant, nice atmosphere and the food is usually really good.

Yeah that pretty much sums it up, Open Sesame and Mongolie Grill are pretty similar. I definetely prefer Mongolie Grill out of the two though.:drool:

well im gonna have to go there next time i go to calgary i thought i'd ask because i hate it when you dont know where to go to eat.

Mongolie grill is way better than Open Sesame. I don't like how you have to specify what type of meat you want at open sesame and you can't choose how much meat you want. Mongolie is also less Westernized IMO. Open sesame is aight if you like the whole asian fusion thing. I wouldn't go back there.

Very good food! Just order the type of meat and rice/noodles, and then pile your bowl full of whatever veggies you want... pretty cheap for what you get.

And the chocolate spring rolls and banana wontons are absolutely fantastic!!!!! :drool:

Palatal is a little more expensive but it's "All You Can Eat"! Makin' me hungry just thinkin' 'bout it.
