So what is everybody doing this year for New Years?

i think i'm gunna end up chilling with my religous youth group.

or maybe call a couple people over to my place and watch movies and hang out.

we usually go out for dinner and then go to a buddy's house and just have a party there.. this year we're doing a potluck at a buddy's house and then the party afterwards.

What are some of the fun things happening around the city for new years? (nothing at the bars though) I'm having trouble finding any info about it. I went down to olympic plaza one yar and that was alot of fun, but that was when they did the fireworks and stuff downtown and had some fun entertainment...I have no idea what kinda stuff is happening this year :dunno:

I know the zoo is doing the zoolites thing and they're also doing fireworks.....but I know I wouldn't want to be out in -24C weather watching fireworks!

I am going to that with some friends. Already bought tix and all. It's 5 bands, 5 pubs access to all of them throughout the nite. I hope it's fun!

I'm checking out that Thomaslynch Fashion new years party. Kinda pricy but we usually do things like this for New Years. Did the Telus Convention last year, that was shitty. Black and White Gala was always fun but they are 25+ now?! I heard??

Well I decided tonight that I will check out the Market Madness down at Eau Claire, went and bought some tickets.

It'll be pretty cold but hopefully it'll be a fun time!

Since it looks like the weathers supposed to be shitty on friday, my plans went down the drain, Dont exactly feel up to driving to Champion in -30 weather. Might check out a friends house party, but other than that, Im back at square 1.
