It doesn't matter if it's Korea or Japan, it has to be 15 years old or older. The only exception is vehicles imported from the US.

Yep, it doesn't matter if its LHD or RHD. The only way you could import it is if the vehicle has a compliance sticker for Canada or the US issued by the manufacturer. I've heard from some people that if it's part of a move it could be possible, but I don't think its confirmed. Give Canada Customs a call, they would be able to tell you one way or another.

It's a M-B G Wagen, it shouldn't be too hard. At least they are legal here, I dunno if they are in Canada.:dunno: If they are legal there then it should be a matter of simply shipping it over.

It has to be 15 years or older or have Canada or US certification.

It's really quite the easy thing to remember.

If your asking about the moving thing(personal property) loophole than you shouldn't even consider using that avenue.

It's a PITA to do it that way even when it's 100% legit.

Does it have proper certification?

Look there for approved vehicles.

I don't think we'll be importing from Europe anytime soon. The shipping from Europe eats up most vehicle's feasibility. However I would like to get a Lotus Carlton someday, so who knows. :)
