Buying things online

Has anyone here bought anything online from the US?
Which courier does you guys use?

I want to get a courier that is reliable but at a decent price. I don't want to pay out of my ass for all these duty fees once I get my package. I heard UPS just kills you with duty fees, brokeage fees.....

How do you guys think of DHL or canadapost?
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

depend what u need to ship
if it is a small package Canadapost is cheapest but take the longest
Duty fee only apply for imported goods that's not made in North America

When I send things to my friend in Canada I just send it via the US Post office, Otherwise, Fed-Ex
