hmmm this is a sale forum is it not? I am selling something, right??? Would it have been better if i posted "v-afc for sale 500 OBO" and then taken the best offer??????? in my opinion this is more or less the same thing as what i have just done, unlike an auction i did not have a deadline in which all bids were to come in, i just said that the best offer would take it.

I agree with you man, and it's in your best interest to get the best deal. You did not turn this into a bidding war, you simply offered a good price and now everyone wants it. Fuck, I shoulda bought it when you first told me that you were selling it!! shit, now I'm kicking myself in the ass! hahahaha oh well.
