Ouch sorry dude...

Is it gonna be covered by insurance?

not going through insurance. paying out of my pocket. insurance is not going to like the chopped rebar, turbo system, FMIC, removed airbag....etc.

Sorry to hear that. I noticed whenever someone does anything really nice to their front of their car something unlucky happens. Why is that?

thanks for all the comments. i really appreciate it. i'm ok. but my car isn't.... anyone that knows me.... knows that my car is my life. so it feels like a part of me is gone :(

i drove the car home and parked it in the garage. i found another hood and i hope to get it soon. a friend in japan is looking for a headlight. bumper/rebar is messed up too. i'm ordering the US spec rebar and bumper tomorrow. only thing i can't fix is the AC core. its leaking. i have no idea how much a new core cost or how much it will cost to fix or even who can fix it for me. anyone have any ideas?

its ok... we do live in a materialistic society after all... i know everyone is probably wondering about the intercooler... to answer your question, it's still good. not even a scrach on it. turbo stuff in intact.

thinking about taking off all the turbo stuff. the money i had saved up i was going to use it to build up my spare engine over the winter... low compression forged pistons, stronger rods, balance everything... standalone ecu...etc. i wanted a crazy fast car to surprise everyone at the first secret street event.... but it looks like my plans have somewhat changed now.

anyways i ripped apart the front end of my car. rebar is bent like i expected... no real real damage to the frame. but AC core is fucked. its leaking like crazy. i'm thinking about leaving it for now since i don't really use the AC.

Can you just rip the AC system out of there?

I heard you can't really work on AC stuff by yourself, it can be dangerous. I really don't know the truth to that though.

I feel ya buddy, I had an accident last winter. and it wasnt pretty. given how light the hood waz, I end up replace the hood, headlamp, grill, radiator, front bumper.. hmm 4k around? i waz so in shock kuz it waz my first crash.

then I had a smaller incident a few months ago where I skratched up my bumper and needs repaint. now I dun feel as depressed. after all crashes are probablly all part of car life . Your lucky if youve never been in an accident but if you do I think as long as you live to see another day its a great blessing plus you learn grealy from it and as a result more confidence driving and step by step you build a great bond with your car bekuz you went thru trial and suffering together. wait am I talking about relationships here? lol

a material...a material...a material world!! hahaha,
anyway, so does this mean that you're selling all your stuff to make back some money in order to repair your shit or are you gonna keep it and in the near future continue with your turbo build up as planned?

thanks for the comments guys. yeah accidents suck... no one wants them to happen... also not sure if i'm keeping or selling turbo stuff. if i do sell legendboy, fuji, tulit and a few others already called dibs. lol. on the bright side i already ordered a new front us spec bumper(sti v5) and hood. a friend of mine has a AC core... so i found most of the parts i need to fix my car. still missing a passenger side headlight. this is what my car is going to look like. any good/bad opinions?
