PC Financial (sp) charges nothing.
Also CIBC has waive accounts (keep it above 1000).

What is your bank number and what is the PIN that goes with it?
Where do you live? How much is your family's annual income?

I don't expect everyone to...I just have a "staff" account at my bank...so no fees, or anything...so even if I didn't have a minimum of a grand in my account I have no fees...

Um, how is it FREE if you paid 2.95?
Talk about price conditioning!

I go to CIBC and they charge bank fees if your account is not above a grand for the full month...
Are there banks that allow unlimited transactions free? If so...where? Are they regular chequing accounts?

yes TD does if you have $5000 plus in your bank

I know that places allow unlimited transaction when your account is consistently above whatever...I'm talking about if your account is inconsistent.

$0.00
Once they tried to charge me fees since my account dipped below 1000 for just 1 day. I just called up, asked nicely, and they waived the fees and now I keep 1500 minimum in the account.

staff account at cibc =0.00 aswell
Look,
if you have NO or VERY little money, you should be using PC Financial.
if you have 1000+ you should be at CIBC.
if you have 5000+ in your chequing account, you should have your head examined.
(Last one is a tricky one, the answer should be obvious).

By FREE, I mean various transaction fees or ATM access fees that other bank charges if you don't reach the minimum amount.

I've had several occasions where I need $5000+ in my chequeing account. I just build it up, and then meet up with my Financial Planner and cut him a cheque to invest for me.
I'm too busy to invest it every couple weeks with work and such.
