215/40/R18 on a '00 Civic Coupe?

Would 18" rims with 215/40/R18 tires fit on a lowered '00 Civic Coupe? My Civic is daily driven and I don't want any rubbering or difficulty turning or anything like that. I had 18" before but with 215/35/R18.

It is a bit tall and stands a good chance on rubbing on a 2000 civic, especially if it has been lowered. Even though it does usually fit without rubbing, a 215/35R18 is akready taller than stock, so a 215/40 would be even worse.
