View Full Version : Where do people buy tires?

Just out of curiousity. Where is the cheapest place to buy tires in Calgary? I'm looking to pick up some out of season Winter tires in the spring (hopefully the price comes down a bit) and some all-seasons for my Subaru Impreza. I find that big chains don't really carry the sizes I need for my car.

Any thoughts / opinions?

The only set of tires I have bought have been from Kal Tire. Great service there, they'll give you written out quotes including all the hidden costs, and the service guys make you feel assured that they are doing a great job.

I highly recommend Kal Tire, at least for light truck tires.

TOGO Tires -- 253-0404

I bought both my summer and winter tires from Dan in the last 10 months -- NO one in town could touch his prices.

He also gives free tire rotations for the life of the tires you purchase from him.

I bought my winters off the OK tire website and they were installed at the Shawnee Station OK tire. Good prices and service.

I sold my car before I could follow through, but CMS gave me a quote for winter tires that was cheaper than ANYONE else.

agreed...although CMS has been a sponsor for a while...the "ads" that CMSBob has been posting are relatively new as opposed to Anand's history here...so i think thats why more people are prone to shop at My Tires vs. CMS...but they both offer very competitive pricing...
