I’ve just removed my factory fitted head unit from my Ford Fiesta Encore (1996) and I’m having trouble fitting my new CD player. The link below is how my CD player came and I then brought the ford connector so it would fit into my original wiring, but when I plug that into my new cd player (plugs in fine) the new connector doesn’t fit the two that are in my car.

So I really need some help on which lead I need to buy so it will plug in correctly, any help welcome!
Thanx
go down to your local car audio store and ask them for a Harness for a 96 Ford Fiesta or just cut the wires

Yes, I agreed with 3G.
The easiest way is to buy a wire-harness for your factory stereo and hook it with your new CD player.
You can buy it at your local audio store or you can buy it online.
It costs about $9.00 (No shipping cost) at

Hit it up.
How do i know which harness i want, because i've brought one after being told it would fit and it doesn't...
You bought the Ford connector... is that the harness?
What I'm seeing in that picture is that you need to actually either:
a) purchase a wire-harness and connect the wires (colour coded), or
b) simply plug in the two...?
Take it into a stereo shop and see what they have to say, as I am partially confused.

I'm confused too between a harness and a ford connector, whats the difference ?
Think i'm best going into halfords and showing them the headunit and asking what i want for my car model.

The harness is a clip that would plug into your factory connection with colour coded wires that you would connect to the connection on the back of the CD player.
A ford connector- I'm not sure exactly what that is, but I believe that it may be the harness. Then again, from the confusion you're having it may very well not be.
