Looking at gettign the sony T610 from fido

anybody have any reviews on this phone that you'd like to share?

im signing a 2 year contract for this thing and i wanna make sure its gonna last that long,..

how is the reception, compared to external antenna phones?

is it ok without the 850 band??

hows the bluetooth?

any other info??...

great phone, no 850 tho, t616 has 850, t610 doesnt

Don't buy the T610...I cannot stress that enough!

It's the T616/T637 you really want. Unrivaled reception!.

i will likely get a 616, and kamen, im not looking to spend near that much on a phone.

The extra $ for the t637 is worth it... I'd get that over a t610 for sure! Buy kamens!

meh I had a T610 for just under a year and the reception was fine, I had reception everywhere even in my basement. But for the money and T6xx is worth it

Good choice, but Fido doesn't have any T616's, so you're going to have to get it unlocked. Nonetheless, do yourself the favor and buy one and unlock it, rather than use the T610. I owned both, and I cannot stress how much the difference is.

Yup, my friend has a T610 he brought back from China, and another had the same thing from Hong Kong. Reception was totally crap. Both sold theirs and are happily using T637's now. :D

T610 is a good phone ..

I have beening using it for 2 years .... and even with tons of damages on it .. but .. never got one single problem ! I still can't find another phone I like for replacement ! ( well .. K700 is nice ..but not huge different )

My gf has been using her for 1 and a half yrs as well .. no problem !

Doesn't change the fact that North America is GSM850 and that phone is GSM900...isn't the T616 available at least? Or is everyone trying to just sell off as many T610s as possible? Like how Rogers is trying with the crap V220s?

ok this is what you do then....you just go with rogers since they have almost identical plans now and get yourself a nice v600....mine works great on the fido network, bought it off ebay.
