Hi guys,
I was wondering if any one had some front and rear struts out of the car that I can compare them with the ones in my car. What I have is a Lancia Scorpion ( big brother to the Fiat X1/9 which the MR2 is baised off of ) and the struts are NLA but I would like to see if the MR2 struts could be retro fitted. Is any one game?
I just want to take some pics and compair and if any one is courious they can come see what a Scorpion is. ( there are less than 20 left in Canada.) Any one interested can PM me.
Thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Warren

I believe so, I am not shure what the under side of the MR2 is like other than I was told that they are verry close to the X1/9.

I just Googled "Lancia Scorpion". Looks like a cross between a Delorian and a Scirocco. If you can use shock inserts just call up any of the standard companies like KYB, Tokico etc and give them the specs of what you need and they can whistle some thing up pretty quick. If you can't do inserts then the other option is look at some coil overs.

The problem is my Konis can no longer be re built ( parts are NLA )
and you can't buy struts for the car any more other than custom made ones by Leada at $1500 for the front. So my thinking is if the Mr2 struts can be adapted why not try and then there will be a source for new struts.
