I've been copying some of my CD's onto my computer using Windows Media Player. I tried tossing some songs on my MP3 player, but they wouldn't work so I checked and see that they are "Windows Media Audio Files".

Is there any way to convert them to MP3 format, or a different program I should use to rip them onto my computer?

CDex is very good. Simple interface.

Uses the LAME encoder.

:werd: Very easy to use interface and doesn't take up very many system resources at all. It's pretty much the only CD ripper I've ever used over the last 3 years.

Sweet, thanks for the help guys. Does anybody know if Itunes rips in MP3 format or will convert them for me, cuz my gf has a copy she'd give me that might be easier...
