Blazer with tip

I saw an 89-94 blazer with a tip. Why would you put a tip on a blazer? It's loud enough!

but dont usually suv's have no chrome tips or anything on the end?
i think it would make it look a little better.
however if its a ricer tip, then i would think its ugly

Actually it was one of those huge bomb mufflers, sorry for the confusion. It's on an older blazers where the exhaust goes to the side just behind the back right tire. It looked really dumb, and when he I saw him driving around the other day I pretty much had to cover my ears it was so loud!
